Level specific sampling

The Geoprobe system provides a large range of tools for soil sampling. It is common for all the probing sampling tools what the soil sample is collected intact in a see-through plastic tube. This improves the quality of the sampling while the soil can be inspected before it is taken out for sampling and transferred to a qualified containment for analyses.

Dual-tube:

With this system it is possible to collect undisturbed samples continuous from the subsurface. This means getting a thorough inspection of the contamination and geology. With this system even microscopically soil layer or can be identified.

Level specific sample:
In this technique a transparent plastic liner inside a 0.5 m sampling probe. The probe is placed in top of the requested depth. Here the probe opens and moves 0.5 m through the subsurface while the soil moves into the plastic tube. Afterwards the probe is retracted to the surface and the plastic liner with the soil sample can be viewed. This method of sampling is quick, efficient and good for multiple sampling sites where the extent of the contamination is unknown. Furthermore overlying layers of contamination will not be effected by sampling and there will be no handling of overlying contaminated soil.
